International Visitors' Guide

Audience: People studying English at language schools, colleges and universities in Britain. This includes all ages and income levels from all over the world, and should not be confused with domestic UK students. Also, international and general visitors requiring a comprehensive introduction to Bournemouth.

Description: Full-colour A1 map covering the entire residential area, with a full street index to help locate students' homestay hosts as well as other venues. Includes information essential for international student orientation and welfare, as well as information of wider interest to visitors, and is written in simple English. It folds to A5.

Print run: We publish one edition a year, printing 30,000 copies.

Distribution: Exclusively through language schools, university international departments, British Council Offices, hotels, guesthouses and conference centres. These may be in Bournemouth itself or across the UK.

Many language schools choose to include the guide in the welcome packs which students receive on the first day of their course and some even send them out in pre-arrival packs. As well as reaching a significant, and invariably wealthy, segment of the EFL market, advertisers benefit from their business being seen as international student-friendly.
